Cycling along the Moselle : Route du Vin (72 km ride)

We will cycle all the way from Wasserbillig to Schengen (German bank) and back (Luxembourgish bank).

All flat, all even terrain, mostly cycling lanes. Suitable for every bike. I myself own a bargain-basement bike so I would not be able to race you even if I wanted to.

We will stop for a picnic (or for lunch at some Wäistuff, should we be able to find a suitable one) along the way. Bring some food and plenty of water.

Relaxing ride but expect a pretty sore bottom by the end as it is quite long.

The train from Luxembourg arrives to Wasserbillig at 10:04 (a bit earlier if you come from Trier) so we should be leaving by 10:10. I would advise you to be early at the station, as on a typical weekend there may be plenty of bikes on this train.

We will meet by the river right behind Wasserbillig’s train station.
