SUMMARY:Three castles: Vianden - Brandenbourg - Bourscheid (24 km hike)
DESCRIPTION:This journey from castle to castle is an entirely new take on a hike we did last year. \nThree things to consider: \n* This one is not a loop\, we will rely on public transport. \n* Not our typical forest hike: it combines forests and rural landscapes. Some short asphalt road segments are unavoidable (kept to a minimum as compared to last year). \n* One challenging climb towards the end. \nCheck the ups and downs in 2D and 3D. \n  \nPublic transport: \n* Luxembourg – Vianden. Take the train to Ettelbruck at 9:16 and bus 180 from there at 9:50. Get off in Vianden Place Engelman. From there it is a short climb to the castle. \n* Bourscheid – Luxembourg. Bus 135 to Ettelbruck departs from the castle hourly (for instance 17:39). From there we take the train back to Luxembourg. \n  \nWe meet by the entry gate of Vianden castle at 10:30 AM.
