DESCRIPTION:This Saturday we will be visiting the surroundings of the nearby German town of Mettlach\, in Saarland. \nOur little promenade will lead us to such emblematic places as the Alter Turm or the castles of Saareck and Montclair\, the latter being located within the Saarschleife\, arguably the main tourist attraction in the region. \nWe can meet at Mettlach’s train station\, which connects the town with Trier and other cities in Germany. \nSend a message for carpooling options. \nThe links to the GPX file and the ups and downs. \nNOTE: From now onwards\, these files will be automatically generated so they must be used with caution. \nTo download the GPX file you need to press for a couple of seconds or right-click.
