DESCRIPTION:We will replace the hike along the Clerve (postponed due to train disruptions) with this one along the Lauterburerbaach. \nYour typical Mullerthal stuff\, only that we will take south from Scheidgen to then climb the hill south of Echternach lake. \nWe will finish with a stroll around the lake. \nEasy and relaxing loop to compensate for all the chastising from the previous adventure. \nJust a steep\, short\, climb at the very beginning. Check the 2D and 3D profiles. \nJoin our group in Telegram. \nBus 201 leaves Luxexpo Station (platform 4) by 10:20. \nIf you come by car\, you can park by the lake. \nWe meet at the bus stop Echternach\, Nonnenmillen/Lac by 10:55. \n

DESCRIPTION:We will visit the Wolfpark Werner Freund once more. \n  \nIMPORTANT \nThis one is not a loop. We will start from Merzig and end in Mettlach. Expect a number of surprises along the way. \nPlease REGISTER. Only hikers having registered on Heylo are welcome. \nJoin our Telegram group for updates and rapid communication. \n  \nOTHER PRACTICAL INFO \nThe ups and downs in 2D and 3D. \nThe weather forecast (switch the date to Sunday). \n  \nHOW TO GET THERE \nCheck DB or CFL for train tickets from Luxembourg or Trier. \nIf you plan to go by car you can leave it in either town: \n1. OPTION 1 (recommended). If you park in Mettlach\, you will need to take a Mettlach-Merzig train in the morning. \n2. OPTION 2 (if you miss your train). If you park in Merzig\, you will need to take a Mettlach-Merzig train in the afternoon. \nEither way\, it is advisable to buy your tickets in advance. \nIf you carpool with me\, we will go for OPTION 1. We will park the car in Mettlach and take the 10:05 train to Merzig. The train takes 4 min and tickets go for €4.30. \nRemember that there are passport controls in Germany: bring your documents and allow enough time in case you are controlled. \n  \nMEETING POINT \nWe start from the Merzig Saar train station by 10:10. \n
