{"id":525,"date":"2022-12-25T11:28:25","date_gmt":"2022-12-25T11:28:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.freeletz.lu\/freeletz\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=525"},"modified":"2022-12-25T11:36:06","modified_gmt":"2022-12-25T11:36:06","slug":"escapardenne-lee-trail-michelau-ettelbruck-15-km-hike","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.freeletz.lu\/freeletz\/event\/escapardenne-lee-trail-michelau-ettelbruck-15-km-hike\/","title":{"rendered":"Escapardenne Lee Trail: Michelau &#8211; Ettelbruck (15 km hike)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lee meaning ridge in Luxembourgish, with its ca. 54 km, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visit-eislek.lu\/en\/fiche\/walking\/european-stage-trail-escapardenne-lee-trail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lee Trail<\/a> is one of the most emblematic hiking paths in Luxembourg.<\/p>\n<p>So far we have done the third leg between Kautenbach and Goebelsm\u00fchle, the second between Goebelsm\u00fchle and Michelau and a custom-made loop around Molberlee.<\/p>\n<p>Now we propose to complete the trail by walking its first leg between Michelau and Ettelbruck, featuring the Victor Hugo Trail and the Patton Memorial.<\/p>\n<p>The first kilometer is a hard ascent and between the second and third there is a moderate ascent. The rest should be fairly easy for our standards. Check the <a href=\"https:\/\/freeletz.lu\/freeletz\/files\/lee_trail_ettelbruck_auto.gpx.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ups and downs.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/freeletz.lu\/freeletz\/files\/lux_ettel.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">10:15 train from Luxembourg<\/a> arrives to Michelau at 10:50 and takes 35 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>This one is not a loop.
