{"id":907,"date":"2024-07-07T20:01:17","date_gmt":"2024-07-07T19:01:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.freeletz.lu\/freeletz\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=907"},"modified":"2024-07-07T20:01:17","modified_gmt":"2024-07-07T19:01:17","slug":"altschlossfelsen-in-the-palatinate-forest-north-vosges-20-km-hike","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.freeletz.lu\/freeletz\/event\/altschlossfelsen-in-the-palatinate-forest-north-vosges-20-km-hike\/","title":{"rendered":"Altschlossfelsen in the Palatinate Forest-North Vosges (20 km hike)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.germany.travel\/en\/nature-outdoor-activities\/unesco-palatinate-forest-north-vosges-biosphere-reserve.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Palatinate Forest-North Vosges Biosphere Reserve<\/a> was designated as a cross-border protected area by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unesco.de\/en\/node\/2385\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UNESCO<\/a> back in 1998.<\/p>\n<p>In this first incursion in the region we will discover the characteristic red rocks of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suedwestpfalz-touristik.de\/Felsen\/altschlossfelsen.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Altschlossfelsen<\/a>, a classic in Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Starting from the French village of Roppeviller, we will head to the <a href=\"https:\/\/archeographe.net\/node\/61\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rocher de Diane<\/a> (a relief in homage to the goddess carved by a Roman road), to follow the Altschlossfelsen path, already in Germany. We will then continue to the marshlands of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.delattinia.de\/node\/1054\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sch\u00f6neichelsmoor<\/a>.
