HOW TO GET THERE<\/p>\n

Check DB<\/a> or CFL<\/a> for train tickets from Luxembourg or Trier.<\/p>\n

If you plan to go by car<\/a> you can leave it in either town:<\/p>\n

1. OPTION 1 (recommended). If you park in Mettlach, you will need to take a Mettlach-Merzig train in the morning.<\/p>\n

2. OPTION 2 (if you miss your train). If you park in Merzig, you will need to take a Mettlach-Merzig train in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Either way, it is advisable to buy your tickets in advance.<\/p>\n

If you carpool<\/a> with me, we will go for OPTION 1. We will park the car in Mettlach and take the 10:05 train to Merzig. The train takes 4 min and tickets go for \u20ac4.30.<\/p>\n

Remember that there are passport controls in Germany: bring your documents and allow enough time in case you are controlled.<\/p>\n
